- the minority co-producer shall cover the amount of its financial contribution within 120 days from the date of receipt of the material necessary for the production of the minority country version. In case of non-compliance, the co-production shall be terminated.
- All participants in the film must be citizens or nationals of either Mexico, Italy, or members of the EU, except for specific requirements or multilateral co-productions.
- Production must be done in the territory of either Party. On-location shooting shall be carried out within the territory of the contracting parties, except for specific requirements.
