Passport holders from the following countries do not require a visa for visits for up to 360 days. All countries of the European Union plus Albania, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatamala, Holy See, Honduras, Iceland, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lichtenstein, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Kuwait, Qatar, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Suriname, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Uruguay, and Uzbekistan.
The citizens of Russian Federation do not need visa to enter and stay on the territory of Georgia up to 90 days. The citizens of the member states of European Union can enter Georgia on the basis of the Identity Card.
Application for a visa can be submitted either in the Georgian consulates in their countries or upon the arrival at the Tbilisi International Airport; at the following checkpoints on the border with Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey; Sarpi and Vale checkpoints on the border of Turkey; Matsimi and Tsiteli Khidi( Red Bridge) on the border of Azerbaijan and Sadakhlo on the border of Armenia. You don't need a permit to film in Georgia. There are no filming restrictions in Georgia. Except for the places of strategic importance, in that case we will have to refer the address and ask for a permission.

Georgia ratified the Istanbul Convention on Temporary Admission on 4/1/2012 accepting all of the 13 annexes.

The VAT rate in Georgia is 18% Zero-rate VAT: in general the following goods and services are mainly exempt from VAT: financial services; supply and import of securities; import of materials and semi-finished goods intended for producing export goods; education services; import and supply of automobiles, unless the main activity of a taxpayer is the sale or lease of automobiles; supply of assets within the state privatization process; import of machinery, means of transportation, spare parts and materials needed for oil and gas industry according to the law of Georgia, as well as, supply of goods and services necessary to implement oil and gas operations by investors and operating companies; supply of magazines, newspapers and books; health care activities.

1. The authors (co-authors) of audiovisual work are: a producer, director, author of script, dialogues, musical work with or without text specially created for this audiovisual work. 2. Conclusion of a contract on creation of audiovisual work results in transfer of the exclusive right to the use of this work from the authors (co-authors) to producer under the condition of receiving royalty for the use of the work in any form, if there is not provided for otherwise by the contract. The author of the musical work created specially for the audiovisual work preserves his right to receive royalty for the use of such musical work at every public performance and public display of audiovisual work. The exercise of the right is possible through the organization administering the authors economic rights on collective basis. 3. The producer of audiovisual work is entitled to have his name indicated or to claim such indication at the use of such work in any form. 4. The author of the work created earlier, which has been derived or included as a component in the audiovisual work, as well as the author of the work created during the process of audiovisual work creation, preserve their copyright on their work having independent meaning. They enjoy the right to make use of his work independently, if there is not stipulated for otherwise, provided, that such use shall not prevent the normal use of audiovisual work. Social charges are deducted from employees salaries, 15% for the health protection fund, and 1% for the social security fund. Employers' contributions are 3% for the health protection fund, 27% for social security, and 1% for unemployment.
