FNE at T-Mobile New Horizons: Western Wins Grand Prize

    WROCLAW: Western, a German/Bulgarian/Austrian coproduction directed by Valeska Grisebach, won both the International Competition Grand Prize and the FIPRESCI Award at the 17th T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival. The festival took place from 3 to 13 August 2017.

    The New Horizons International Competition jury was composed by Gaston Solnicki, Hadas Ben Aroya, Gustavo Beck and Agnieszka Podsiadlik.

    All the Cities of the North, a coproduction from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro directed by Dane Komljen, received the International Competition Honorable Mention. The Audience Award went to the Polish film Photon directed by Norman Leto.

    A total of 200 feature films from over 50 countries, including four world premieres and 138 Polish premieres, were screened during the festival.
