FESTIVALS: Heart of Stone Wins 2019 One World Festival

    PRAGUE: The French film Heart of Stone by Claire Billet and Olivier Jobard was awarded best film in the main competition of the 2019 One World International Human Rights Film Festival, held in Prague from 6 to 17 March 2019.

    The 14 categories counted 117 films. A new section Short and Concise was added to the programme this year, as well as 12 virtual reality projects.

    A total of 28,488 viewers attended the screenings in Prague.

    The festival now moves to 35 cities and towns throughout the Czech Republic, but the year-round platform Get Your Audience! offers the opportunity for films to be seen legally by a wider audience.
