ANAC is an association that represents film directors and writers. The purposes expressed in the statute, included cultural and political objectives directly related to the general theme of freedom of expression, the defense and the growth of the creative potential constantly exposed to the effects of economic crises, and the defense of employment, the identification and the creation of new forms of public intervention aimed at social outcomes and collective reform of the general information and culture
