Specific Conditions

  • In cases where Spain or China maintain a co-production agreement cinematographic with a third country (region), the competent authorities, according to This Agreement may approve a co-production project in which a co-producer of a third country (region), whose contribution may not exceed 30%.
  • In the case of multilateral co-productions, the minimum contribution may not be less than 10% and the maximum may not exceed 70% of the movie budget.
  • Participants must be citizens or nationals of either Spain, China or members of the EU, except for specific requirements.
  • Co-production films shall be made, processed, post-produced in the countries of both parties, except for specific requirements.
