The treaty replaces and updates an existing framework that was signed between France and the then-Yugoslavian in 1975.
- All participants in the film must be nationals of either France or Bosnia, or nationals of one of the member states of the EU or of the European Economic Area, except in case of particular requirements of the film.
- The filming must be done in studios established in the territory of either Party.
- On-location shooting shall be carried out within the territory of the contracting parties except for specific requirements.
